Parade of Hearts 2026
Follow the Journey.
In May of 2025 I seen an advertisement looking for artists for the Parade of Hearts 2026 in Kansas City, MO. At the time I was really thinking about my abilities as an artist and how I could put myself out there more as a way to prove to myself I am talented. So the Parade of Hearts became my passion project. I will be posting about my journey along the way so be sure to check in on my progress! I’m excited to be a 2026 Parade of Hearts “Heartist”!
The first step in the process was to create a design. I spent months coming up with my design on illustrator. I will share more details about my design coming up in the future. We are not yet permitted to do so.

I got a call at the end of September asking me to be a part of media day for the Parade of Hearts! Of course I said yes. A few days later those of us who were called got together and we were on the news! It was my first time on the news and I was so incredibly nervous. I feel like I did okay though so I will include the clip here.
I MADE IT!
The announced to us at Media Day that we each got a spot and were chosen to be 2026 Heartists!
Out of 500 submissions, I was chosen to be one of the 150 that got a heart! I am so incredibly proud of myself for making it!
On November 8th, 2025 I picked up my heart!
Loading it was a breeze. Getting it in the house on the other hand was quite the adventure but with a lot of maneuvering and taking the door off its hinges it is now safely in my studio where it belongs. Ready for me to bring it to life!————————————————————————————————————————————--
