The “O” Project

At the same time I was submitting my design for The Parade of Hearts I seen a Facebook post from the Downtown Odessa Collective, they were looking for local artists for a project inspired by the Parade of Hearts. The project consisted of 12 local artists painting wooden “O’s” to be on display for a month and then auctioned off as a fundraiser for downtown revitalization. I decided to use the opportunity to practice painting on a larger canvas. It was a great time and it allowed me to learn a lot.
